Directions: Score each segment of The Creativity Wheel 1 – 5 with 1 being complete dissatisfaction and 5 being complete satisfaction.

As you rate the segments, think about how satisfied you are with each of the areas as they apply to your specific project or creative goal. If you aren’t sure about what a segment means, check the next page for some questions to get you thinking.

Remember that everyones project is different and you may need to tweak the definition of each segment to best fit your creative project or undertaking. Feel free to add your own categories or remove ones you don’t wish to address. The goal of The Creativity Wheel is for you to gain a broad understanding of where you are at on the journey of creation. This tool is intended to spark insight and provide direction for moving forward. You may check in with The Creativity Wheel at various times and complete a new one when you’ve had significant changes in either the direction or completion level of a projection.

What’s most important about what you want to do ?

Purpose
Why is this project important to you?
What would you like to accomplish by turning your vision into a reality ?

Organization
What steps are you taking to keep your work organized?
How do you wish to organize your project ?
What type of organizational system works best for you function ?

Freedom
What barriers are in the way of your creative vision ?
What limiting beliefs do you have about yourself or others that may be holding you back from pursuing this project ?

Collaboration
Who do you talk to about your ideas?
What organizations or people are you involved with that support you and your creative endeavors ?
What information and resources are available to provide you with background knowledge on topics related to your creative pursuit ?

Context
Who are you creating this project for?
Who are your ideal audience / patrons / clients / benefactors ? How does this project play a role in your community ?
